The Tourism Bureau’s Winter Subsidies have just ended in January, and now the Spring Subsidies are coming from April to June. However, these two programs are not entirely alike!

• Expanding the scale of the Winter Subsidies: Sunday to Thursday self-guided tours will be given 1,000NTD/night regardless of age. Those aged above 60 and below 30 will be given 1,500NTD.
• Spring Subsidies: Sunday to Thursday self-guided tours will be given 500NTD/night regardless of age. Citizens aged 18 to 40 will be given an additional 500NTD if they visit one of the 30 Classic Villages listed by the Tourism Bureau, or one of the 10 Hakka Villages/offshore islands. Max subsidy is 1,500NTD.
